Here is where our flat is located. The three windows to the right of the door on the left belong to us.

We had our first real English meal in this pub. It was built about 1720. Ginny had fish and chips and I had rack of lamb.

There is a little pathway by our flat. Doesn't it look cool. At the end of the path you find...

this. A real potato field in the process of being harvested. It made us feel right at home. There is also a dairy near by and when the wind blows just right you get that good dairy smell just like we would get from Cannon's and the farmers slow the traffic down by driving their equipment up and down the road.

We went to a Zone conference in a chaple next to the Preston Temple. Hopefully, soon we will be able to go to the temple for a session.
That pub looks pretty fancy shmancy and the pathway behind your "flat" is beautiful! I am glad you found such a great place to live that suits you so well. It is always nice to have a little reminders of home when you are so far away.
ReplyDeleteI have been checking everyday to see if there was a new post. I was very excited when I opened it up and there you were. It looks beautiful there. I can't believe you already had company. That must have been fun to see someone you knew. That is too funny, that there is a potato field close by. You both look great.

ReplyDeleteToo funny about the potato field and the lovely smell of cows. Looks like you've got lots of green to enjoy.
